THE PERSON BEHIND THE FAN

From the Coast Guard to the garage.

After nearly a decade in the U.S. Coast Guard, Scott Olsowski studied mechanical engineering at Florida Atlantic University. Golf, family outings, and life in the Florida heat gave him a problem he wanted to solve: a portable fan that could move between the places he actually used it.

Zefra started in the garage, with sketches, 3D models, and prototypes. The idea was simple—keep the fan, change the mount. That idea became MistOne and its interchangeable mounting system.

Zefra takes its name from Zephyrus, the Greek god of the west wind. It reflects what our portable fans bring to your day: a refreshing breeze, wherever you go.

Today, we’re still a small company with a hands-on approach. Customer feedback helps us decide what to improve next, from how a mount fits to how the fan works in everyday use.

WHAT MATTERS TO US

Useful ideas. Real-world feedback.

We want MistOne to earn its place in your day. Here’s what guides the work.

Make it useful.

A golf cart, a camp table, a boat, or a stroller can call for a different mount. Our modular approach lets one fan work across different setups.

Meet the seven mounts

We’re just getting started.

MistOne is just the beginning. We’re working on new ideas and more possibilities for the Zefra system, shaped by real-world feedback. We’ll share more when they’re ready.
