A golf cart fan works best when its mount fits your cart and its airflow reaches your seat. Zefra MistOne is a rechargeable portable misting fan with a C-Clamp included. Use this guide to choose a mounting point, position the fan and decide when to add mist.

Start with the mount: C-Clamp or Cup Holder?

Choose the included C-Clamp when your cart has a suitable rigid rail, bar or firm edge. The clamp’s padded contact surfaces should sit securely against the support. Check the actual shape and available clearance; a photo of another cart does not establish fit on yours.

Choose the optional Cup Holder mount when there is no convenient rail, including some topless carts. It needs a compatible holder with enough depth and a secure fit. Check that the base cannot wobble, rotate or lift out with the fan attached. The Cup Holder mount is sold separately.

Low or side-mounted cup holder? Consider the extension-rod setup.

When a cup holder sits low or off to the side, an extension rod can raise MistOne toward a more useful height for your seat. A front-and-center cup holder may already place the fan where you want it with a more compact setup. Choose the arrangement that brings airflow toward you while keeping the steering wheel, controls and entry path clear.

Check fit and position before your round

1. Park before adjusting. Choose a firm mounting point that keeps the fan clear of the steering wheel, pedals, controls, sightlines and entry path.
2. Secure the base. Tighten the C-Clamp against the support, or seat the Cup Holder mount securely in a compatible holder. If the support flexes or the mount slips, choose another location.
3. Lock the quick-change connection. Attach MistOne and check that the receiver is fully locked. Give the assembly a gentle check for looseness before use.
4. Aim toward your seat. Start with airflow alone, then adjust the angle while parked. Keep the fan close enough to feel the breeze without blocking your view or movement.
5. Recheck the hold. Vibration can reveal a poor fit. Stop and adjust if the fan or mount starts moving; inspect the connection again after changing mounts.

What to expect from a golf cart misting fan

MistOne has three fan speeds and independently controlled mist, so you can use the breeze on its own or add mist outdoors. Start with the fan aimed at your seat, then try the mist setting to find what feels comfortable.

Think of mist as personal cooling near the fan. An open golf cart has moving air: wind, humidity, distance and direction affect how much mist reaches you. It will not cool an entire cart like an enclosed air-conditioning system. If mist drifts away or wets nearby surfaces, adjust the position or switch to airflow only. Keep mist directed away from controls and electronics.

Does MistOne include a golf-cart mount?

MistOne includes the C-Clamp. It can attach to suitable cart rails, bars and firm edges; check your mounting point and clearance. The Cup Holder mount is an optional accessory.

Will it fit every golf cart?

Fit depends on the cart’s support shape, cup-holder dimensions and available space. Check the intended location before ordering rather than relying on the cart’s brand or model alone.

Can I use the Magnet mount on a moving golf cart?

No. Zefra’s Magnet mount is for compatible stationary surfaces. For a moving cart, choose a suitable C-Clamp or compatible Cup Holder setup and check its hold before use.

Can I use the fan without mist?

Yes. The fan and mist operate independently, so you can keep airflow running without adding water mist.
