My Zefra fan arrived and I was excited to put it to use. Unfortunately, the mist did not work as expected. I contacted Zefra Customer Service and got an immediate response and an offer to return it for a replacement. The new fan works great. My experience with Customer Service was excellent. Immediate and personal responses and follow-up to be sure I was satisfied. The best experience with them I have ever encountered!

The primary use for my fan is to attach it to the frame of a standard 2-person electric golf cart (it's either a Club Car or an EZ-Go). The C-clamp mount is sturdy enough, but its design does not allow for precise positioning, due to the limited adjustability of the mount. As a result, it is not possible to mount the fan so it blows on the driver and the passenger. This renders the fan nearly useless. This problem would be solved by adding a ball & socket joint where the fan body is attached to the bracket. This will permit adjustment in every dimension. McMaster-Carr probably has something that will fix the problem. I will look into it.
I have a related question - will the mister function work if the fan is mounted with the water tank in a position other than plumb and square with the filler cap on top? If not, what are the limitations? Thank you.

I would like the fan to be a bit stronger and the misting to carry a bit further. With actual cross breezes it tends to render the fan in effective. In hot days the fan doesn’t really do effective cooling when driving in the golf cart.
Having said the above the design is good and were it stronger it would get a 5.

Got it on my golf cart. The vibration doesn’t stay on fell off twice. The water spray is weak. Can’t feel it.

I was a nice fan and attached easily. Needed a bit more power on the golf cart. If there was even a slight breeze I could barely feel it but worked ok when it was dead still. The mount didn’t last long in the golf cart but my course is really bumpy so not sure anything would hold up long.

This has got to be the worst fan on the market for the price point. I bought it because it can be hot in Arizona and wanting to golf. The fan is weak and can’t feel it or the mist unless your face is up against the fan. The fan broke off from the c-clamp on the first day I ever used it. I actually found the $30 fan on Amazon was much more powerful and didn’t break. Extremely disappointed in this purchase.

The small bracket that attaches to the c clamp makes it very unstable and shakes. Then bought the cup holder hoping that would be better. No. Way too unstable for a golf cart. Sorry I waited two months for this to arrive.. very disappointing

I mounted the fan to my golf cart on the upper supports for the roof. With the amount of vibrations and oscillations that the fan was taking I can't imagine the quick disconnect lasting very long.
I took it off the support after a very short time to keep it from flying off the cart while traveling down the cart paths.
I am planning on taking the mount off and drilling through the U shaped holder for the fan and mounting it straight to the upper brackets with bolts.
Hopefully that will last as long as I need it to.

The fan portion works like a charm, love the c-clamp and not worrying about the fan falling off as I ride around the golf course. The water mister could be a bit stronger, but its so humid in Florida I don't really need to use that option much. Battery life is great if you just use the fan part, got about 3 rounds out of one charge

The fan is great so far. My only concern with it is the frame and connector. They dont look or feel as strudy and when driving a Golf Cart on the course it bounces a lot. Other than this it is a great fan.

Have to keep tightening clamp. Needs bungee cord to help control bounce and weight of fan. Fan doesnt move enough air and mist is no sufficent for a hot Florida day.

The C-Clamp does not hold the rubber cane off when l tighten it down on the first try The connection between the C-Clamp is on the weak side when l hit a bump on the golf course l have to hold the fan because it looks like it going to break it might be because of the water weight l do not know but l still hold the fan just Incase the mister is not that great maybe because there is not enough power in the fan

This is my second unit. First one the motor stuttered. They replaced it. Second one did the same thing once but since it’s been ok. I have always been nervous about the C-clamp. And as I thought it is susceptible to our rugged course. The clamp on the column seems to hold ok but the round disc that holds the fan connection loosens fairly easily to the point where it unscrewed from the fan itself and it fell from vibrations. The fan wiggles quite a bit driving across the course. Wish it had a better way to secure the mounting screws so they don’t backout from vibration.

Overall this product is pretty good. Mist only blows out a short area - even on the highest setting. The C clamp has come loose on my golf cart a couple of times, sending the unit crashing to the bottom of the cart. The unit has also come off the C clamp a couple of times. I'm not sure how the screw loosened. If you mount the unit close to the user I'm sure it would be good. For the money however I think this could and should be a better product.

Heavy duty. Not likely to shake apart on my golf cart. If you get really close you get the cooling effect of the water but must be right in your face. The air output matches the $40 fans I’ve bought. Not sure it’s worth the price but if it lasts 3 years or more it’s probably not too far off.

The one I ordered had a damaged box from shipping and turned out to have a small leak. Customer service was very helpful and sent me a return label within a day. Can’t wait to get the replacement and see how it works. My friend has his one and it works perfectly.

Better quality control and better updates. Replacement power was to be sent to me, and I have not received it yet or any updates. Unit takes forever to recharge. Currently been charging for 24 hours and only the 2nd light is flashing at this point.

We did receive it, and I installed it yesterday. My wife used it yesterday. She said the same thing happened to her during the round of golf that happened on the first one. That is, it stopped turning, and then it just kind of slowly moved, inch by inch, stuttering, if you will. She turned it off, turned it back on, and she said it continued to work okay. I'm going to have to try it in the very near future and see if it happens to me.

This is the second time the fan has fallen off the golf cart using the C clamp mount. The quick connector has disconnected first, at the connection. Second disconnected from the screwed in part connected to the C clamp. Stripped out. Also, it is very hard to adjust the fan to be able to direct the fan at you. Connecting to the quick connect is either too high or to low. Couldn't really tell if the fan blows stronger than the first generation.

My fan did fall off twice during its first round. This may be due to not tightening the mount tight enough. I have added 2 washers and will check the “tightness” throughout the round.

For it's size I thought it would have a stronger flow of air, love the sturdiness and quality material its made of, when the fan is mounted on c-clamp, you can only adjust it a quarter inch at a time, sometimes based on location you can't get the air flowing where you want it, but if the base could spin to a location then you lock it in position, I think it would be better. Plus locking nut on bottom of clamp loosens up when riding on rough roads or bumpy golf courses, have to keep a check on that often, fan fell off a couple times during round.
Over all I do like the fan, just a few adjustments and we would love it

I don't think it is worth the price. While it is nice to have some options for mounting the fan, the fan speed is no better than the $25 fans from the online box store. I was looking for something stronger for the extreme heat we are experiencing.

Fan works fine. It struggled once when we put the mist on. The C clamp work marginally well on a golf cart. My wife always wants it to swivel in 2 directions. The screw need Loctite so when you want to release it, it can do it's job and not just make it impossible to remove the clamp. Overall very satisfied, but I think the cup holder for a golf cart will be the best solution once it gets here...

Clamp mount is not easy to locate when you have mirrors on the roof mount supports. The center connector is not very secure. Came apart when I was trying to figure out to mount. Still have not mounted to cart.

The actual fan is very nice, but I recommend getting one of the options for attaching it, as the C-clamp doesn’t seem to fit on our golf cart in any logical way. (The windshield must be open for an optimal position, or, you can attach it to the back rail, but then it’s blowing on the back of your head…). We ordered the cup holder attachment 8 days ago, still waiting for it…. We weren’t ecstatic about having to buy a $40 attachment, but after buying the fan, we at least wanted to get the best possible cooling result from the placement.

I have tried several different fans to attach to my golf cart. None, until this one, have been secure. This one has a great clamp/screw system.
Plus the mister part is wonderful. I get overheated super easy because I am extremely fair complected. The most part really helps cool me down on hot days out on the course.

The fan is good, would like for it to have more force but, I’m also playing in 107 temps. But it does provide some releif. The misting portion of the fan is basically non existent, it does mist but the mist barely makes out of the nozzle and drops. Doesn’t come close to making to someone sitting in the drivers seat. If there were a way to increase pressure at the misting nozzle to get mist to the driver it would make a world of difference , possibly a smaller tip size?

I've used the fan a few times, seems very sturdy but have little usage to fully know how it will hold up to bumps on the golf course. I am extremely disappointed that the fan air movement is weak, even fully charged and on the highest setting, where you need to be inches from the fan to feel it, including the mist. For the price, would have expected a stronger air flow and the mist reaching further than a few inches.

Great fan. Good power at full speed and the water mister helps cool the air flow temperature down even more. I purchased the octopus mount as it gives me a multitude of mounting options. I would love to see a bag designed to carry it all in.

The c-clamp mount where the attachment with blue siding locks did not work. The spring has come out of bracket and will not work at all.
I never got to use it one time as this bracket would not lock in place. I had to spend another 46 dollars for a cup holder bracket.
They shipped that DHL and will take like 10 days to get here.
I’m considering returning the fan. What is the return policy?

Well it’s great when I can get it charged. It will not charge correctly and with it charging I have to turn on the fan and then turn it off to get it to go from the first setting to the 2nd setting. Then I have to turn the fan on and off again to go to the 3rd setting. I learned this thru trial and error while trying to get it to charge. That’s why I asked for a replacement and you said you would send me the next generation.

Well I used the fan for the first time today.
Good news . It lasted 18 holes .
Bad news . The spray is very weak compared to another misting fan I have .
Those fans have a water container , which are a bit of a pain. The output and battery are excellent.
The misting of your fan quit about the 14th hole. I believe it is the way I had to adapt to the cart . Water wasn’t getting to where it needed as it got low due to positioning.
I’ll give it another go in a few days.
Your price is twice as much as the fans I already have, that do a better job.
The connection to the C clamp is a bit cheap, and I wonder with vibration ,if they will fail down the road .
I think there is room for improvement. I hope you achieve that to make it better.
I most likely won’t buy another one at this time , at the price . I’ll make it work, with the Two more powerful misting fans I already have.

Purchased for my Wife’s golf cart. She was happy, so that is what matters most. Quality construction compared to other fans I’ve seen. The fan takes a lot longer to charge then the 5 hrs stated in the instructions. I think the cup holder mount might be better than the C- clamp mount for golf carts. Over all pleased with the product.
